GTR - Toe The Line

Yes와 Asia의 기타리스트 Steve Howe와 Genesis 기타리스트 Steve Hackett이 뭉친다는 소식은 쇼킹했다. 
둘 다 한 시대를 풍미한 기타리스트였기에 둘의 만남만으로도 화제를 모으기에 충분했다. 
기타리스트 출신답게 스튜디오 믹싱 콘솔에서 기타 볼륨을 조절하는 표시인 GTR을 밴드 이름으로 삼았다.

1986년 발표한 셀프 타이틀 데뷰 앨범은 프로그레시브 록보다는 편하게 들을 수 있는 AOR 계열이었다.
영미권에서는 <When the Heart Rules the Mind>와 <The Hunter>가 인기를 얻었으나 국내에서는 <Toe The Line>이 방송을 자주 탔다.
