Birmingham6 사소한 아이디어가 세상의 물줄기를 바꾼다 예전에 롤링스톤에 실린 Black Sabbath 기사를 읽은 적이 있다. 기사에는 Black Sabbath 특유의 무겁고 어두 분위기에 얽힌 비화가 실려 있었다. 계기는 매우 단순했다. Tony Iommi는 동네 극장 맞은편에 살았는데 사람들이 영화를 보기 위해 길게 줄을 서 매우 시끄러웠단다. 도대체 무슨 영화이길래 사람들이 줄을 서 기다리며 볼까? 궁금해 영화를 보니 공포영화였다. 다음날 Tony는 Ozzy에게 "사람들이 공포영화를 돈 주면서 보는데 우리도 공포영화같은 음악을 하자. 이거 장사될 거 같지 않아?"라고 제안을 했고 그렇게 Black Sabbath의 정체성은 틀을 잡았다. 한 편의 공포영화가 오늘날 우리가 알고 있는 Black Sabbath를 만든 셈이다. 많은 일이 그렇듯 사소한 아이디.. 2024. 5. 4.
