(1939/8/19-)Lewisham(England) 

1962년 Alexis Corner's Blues Incorporated에 스카웃됨. 이후 Graham Bond Organization를 거쳐 Cream과 Blind Faith에서 드럼의 마왕이라는 닉네임을 얻음. 이후 자신의 프로젝트인 Air Force와 Baker Gurvitz Army 그리고 솔로활동을 병행하였다. 

수많은 평론가들이 장르를 초월한 최고의 타악기주자로 그를 지목하고 있는 이유는 무엇일까? 말할나위없이 그의 소리를 들어보면 그 이유를 알게되었는데... 록의 3대 드러머로(John Bonham/Cozy Powell) 평가받기도 했지만 두 후배를 불귀의 객으로 먼저 보낸후 65세의 노병이 되었다.
