10. Mystery Train

Clap your hands for the magic man
You know he'll save us if he can
Pray he waves his hand over us all.

I know the children can believe
Could be the problem is you and me
Better change or we'll never get free at all

Put your faith in what's to come
Throw away the things you've done
Buy a ticket and ride the mystery train
Orders of the golden dawn
Forget the road you travelled on
Pack your bags and ride the mystery train.

The carnival in the village square
Say so and I'll see you there
Last taste of earthly paradise

See the freak show, play the stalls
Happy that we've come at all
Special pleasure if you get it right

Torme were formed in 1984 when Irish guitar hero, (ex Gillan & temporary replacement for Randy Rhoads in Ozzy's band). Bernie Torme, teamed up with former Girl (& future LA Guns) singer Phil Lewis. With Chris Heilmann on bass & Ian Whitewood on drums, Torme were a hard-hitting, tight-fitting, unfettered UK hard rock four-piece, no frills, no gimmicks. First time on CD, this release features the 1985 Zebra album 'Back To Babylon' with bonus tracks from the 1986. 12 "Star" & is a pure slice of sleazy, raw mid-80's rock.
