* John Myung (Biography)
John's Parents Were Both Born In Korea.
They Met In Chicago After They Both Had Emigrated To The U.S.
John Was Born In Chicago In '67.
They Moved To King's Park, NY Where John Spent His Childhood.
John Studied Classical Violin From Ages 5-15.
He Then Switched To The Bass Guitar At Age 16.
John Attended King's Park High School.
John Then Attended The Berkely School Of Music Where, In 1985, He Formed
D A Band With Long/time Friends John Petrucci & Mike Portnoy.
The Band Was Called Majesty And Would Later Be Named...Dream Theater.
John Still Has Family Living In Seoul And Has Visited Them In Korea.
He Very Much Looks Forward To Returning To Korea To See His Family And To Perform There With Dream Theater.
